Hostgator has, without competition,
the most unprofessional and rude support staff out there. If they
even answer to your inquiries....The support staff
take 2-6 days to answer a support ticket no matter how urgent the
matter is. Unfortunately the staff doesn't really read what you
write and they copy and paste randomly from their FAQ regardless to
whether that answers your inquiry or not.
Many customers have
been shocked by the rude and hostile answers you get from Hostgator
support and if you try and talk back your account will be terminated
instantly and you will not get a refund.
Hostgator's Terms
and Conditions clearly states that you can not be rude or abuse
their staff. This would be ok if it also worked the other way
around.
If you are lucky
enough to even get a reply to your support ticket you can count on a
very brief answer that often will get you nowhere closer to a
solution to your problem.
If you lose
patience with their lousy support and terminate your account you can
count on the staff being even more rude and sarcastic.
